Where does it come from?

There are three primary sources of spam
- Misconfigured servers that permit relaying of spam
- Dialup accounts that do not block directly sending email
- Internet service providers that do not care about the activities of their customers
Most reputable ISP's will respond to abuse reports by terminating the accounts of spammers
